The Cat Cams website has 2 modes: "parts mode" and "engine mode". The yellow "modeswitch" button toggles between "parts mode" and "engine mode". A red box around the parts in the top menu indicates "parts mode", "engine mode" is indicated by a red box around the engine details in the left menu.

engine mode

When an engine is selected in "engine mode", all parts are grouped in 3 categories: camshaft setup, valve spring setup and engine block setup. To select an engine, following steps are required:
1/ click the icon of the vehicle type [left pane]
2/ select the manufacturer from the dropdown list [left pane]
3/ select the engine from the main list [center pane]

In the main engine list, the engines are grouped by families. A magnifying glass may give access to additional information about specific engine details and differences between engines in a particular engine group.

parts mode

If you have selected an engine and you want to check an individual parts list (for example valve springs), you just click the "modeswitch" button to go to "parts mode", followed by the "valve spring" icon in the top menu. This way, you can review individual parts without loosing the engine you have selected before. To return to engine mode, just click the "modeswitch" button again.
